Ahmed believes that the future for Africa is now, especially across many fronts including sports. Coming from a hockey background, he is passionate about pursuing what he sees as a big opportunity for potential growth for African Hockey in the coming years.

His Vision is “To propel the AfHF to the next level in terms of image, online/offline exposure, continental competitiveness, competitions participation, enhanced activities in listed NAs, increased followers, all in sync with FIH and IOC goals and strategies within an ethical framework and in cooperation with the global hockey family along with stakeholders, suppliers and partners/sponsors”.
