WOMEN: South Africa & Zimbabwe were declared as qualified from Africa for the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2021 – Potchefstroom, South Africa (1 – 12 Apr 2022)
FIH and Hockey India confirmed the dates for the Junior World Cup (Men) to be during the period 24 Nov. – 5 Dec. 2021 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha (India)

Tournament Cancelled: North-West Africa Qualifier for AAG 2023 (Men) cancelled due to late withdrawal of Sierra Leone Men’s Team. The AfHF therefore hereby confirms that both Ghana (M) and Nigeria (M) are now automatically qualified for the AAG 2023. As for the Women category, Kenya (W) and Nigeria (W) are qualified for the AAG 2023 based on their World Rankings
